2020 Virtual 5K
NMS - 5K - VIRTUAL RUN - Information:
- Dates of virtual run: Week of Saturday, May 23 – 30, 2020
- Place: On your own, run, jog or walk, 3.1 miles
- Griffith Park 5K course
- Neighborhood
- Park
- Treadmill
- How to track your run:
- Download the NIKE RUN CLUB or any FREE tracking app.
- If you do not have it already
- Set the distance for a 5K (3.1 miles).
- Can’t download an app.
- Use Google maps to map out a 3.1mile run, jog or walk in your local area.
- When you complete your run, jog or walk, screen shot your distance and time or write down the time.
- This is needed to redeem your shirt and medal.
- How to redeem your shirt and medal:
- Print your NMS 5K Virtual Run Voucherthat was sent to you through Schoology or copy the information onto a piece of paper.
- Bring that paper with the information filled out prior to arriving.
- Information should include:
- Race number (assigned number)
- Print last name, first name
- Time
- Shirt size (selected on your 5K application, sorry no exchanges)
- Where to redeem your shirt and medal:
- Please only have the driver and one other person for pick ups.
- Your can pick up for family members and friends, as long as you have their NMS 5K Virtual Run Voucherfilled out.
- Friday, May 29that Crystal Springs, Griffith Park
- 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Those of you who have participated in our 5K before, you know where we start and finish, that’s where we’ll be.
- Saturday, May 30that Nightingale
- 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- On the backside of school, Jeffries Ave, by the grass field.
- If you miss these days for pick up, we will inform you of the next pick up date.
- Please message us your NMS 5K Virtual Run Voucher .
